Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CollectChase ("the service", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What the service is

CollectChase is an AI-assisted research tool: it helps you identify collectibles from photos and descriptions, track a collection, and find listings on third-party marketplaces that match your saved searches and preferences. It is a research aid — it does not sell anything itself and is not a marketplace.

Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
  • Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. We recommend enabling a passkey or two-factor authentication.
  • Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for anything unlawful, or to research or acquire prohibited goods.
  • Attempt to break, probe, or overload the service, or circumvent rate limits, credit metering, or plan restrictions.
  • Scrape, resell, or redistribute the service or its output as a competing product.
  • Upload content you don't have the right to share, or content that is harmful or infringing.

AI results and listings

  • Identifications, price guidance, and other AI-generated results can be wrong. They are provided for information only and are not appraisals, authentication, or purchase advice. Verify anything important before you rely on it.
  • Listings shown in the service come from third-party marketplaces. Prices, availability, shipping, and seller details can change or be inaccurate, and the listing content belongs to those sites and sellers.
  • Any purchase you make happens on the marketplace, under that marketplace's terms. We are not a party to those transactions and aren't responsible for sellers, items, or payments made outside the service.

Plans, credits, and billing

  • The service offers a free plan and paid plans. Research features consume credits, which are granted by your plan or purchased separately.
  • Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, under their checkout terms. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can manage or cancel your plan from the Account page.
  • Credits have no cash value and unused promotional or plan-granted credits may expire with your billing period.

Your content

You own the photos, messages, and notes you submit. You give us the permission needed to operate the service with them — storing them, displaying them back to you, and processing them with our service providers (including AI model providers) to fulfil your requests. See the Privacy Policy for details on how content is handled.

Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the Account page, which permanently deletes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from purchases made on third-party marketplaces or reliance on AI-generated results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves; we'll update the date at the top and highlight material changes in the app. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
